Envisioning The Newburyport Greenway – Feb 16th at 4 PM

Have you heard about the vision for The Newburyport Greenway? The Greenway is a proposal for a 4-mile, shared-use route that allows cyclists, walkers, joggers, pets and strollers to travel and recreate in safety alongside slow-moving traffic. The path would run from Moseley Pines to Perkins Playground along a “Middleway” — the neighborhood streets between Water/Merrimac and High Streets. Come learn more about the pathway, see conceptual drawings and maps, and share your ideas with Alex Dardinski, the Newburyport resident who is spearheading the effort.
The event, sponsored by Transition Newburyport and Community Resilience Circles, begins at 4 PM on Sunday, February 16th, Central Congregational Church, 14 Titcomb Street in Newburyport. Call 978-462-1308 for further information.
